Women’s Circle
Women’s Circle has become the collective name of my programs created specifically for women where we meet weekly or monthly in intimate group sessions. The purpose and intention of these Women’s Circles is to dive deeper into exploring topics that affect women in particular. Embarking on these journeys of discovery and transformation can have an extraordinarily liberating effect on our entire lives.
You can read more about these topics, approaches, and programs on my website under the To Women menu.
In 2023, I led the first Women’s Circle online program called – Inner Journey into the Sacred Feminine, where we met with the participants once a month for almost a year. It was fantastic to see their commitment to themselves and this journey. I have witnessed such depth and compassion not only in the way they turned towards each other but towards themselves as well. It was palpable even virtually the way they wrapped each other in a loving embrace when they had difficulties or any of them felt like were hitting rock bottom.
They proved each time we met that it really is easier together! These are the formats in which, we realize we are not alone, and more often than not we are facing the same or quite similar challenges, and that in itself is healing.
I feel moved when I think about the experience we had, about the women participating in the program and their journey together. I am grateful that some of the participants have agreed to share their experiences and transformation to inspire other women who may feel called to step onto this journey.
Below you can read a conversation with Nóra Tresz, a participant in my Inner Journey to Sacred Feminine circle, which I wholeheartedly recommend.
What inspired you to join the Women’s Circle?
Nóra — My desire for self-development, gaining new perspectives and getting to know myself better.
What was one or more benefits you received as a result of the program?
Nóra — Many changes take place during a process like this. Often even during the course of one gathering. If one dares, takes the chance of being herself and open up, realizes more and more how much she can really change. And some things just happen, not because we wanted them to.
What was unique or defining for you in program that you would like others to know about?
Nóra — It was your way of being. I love how and who you are, from the moment you say hello, and I feel that real, loving space, how you pay attention to us with all your energy and how you prepare for every session we have. I am grateful for it!
What would you highlight, that you understood about yourself or your life as a result of the program? Was there something that was thought-provoking or enriched your perspective as a woman?
Nóra — I understood that everything is a matter of perspective. I gained new insights about how to think, talk about myself and with myself, but most of all, how to connect with my own power centers as a woman.
It was powerful to experience the power of the group and the joint meditation, also how much we can help each other, even with just a word or a sentence.
Was there anything that surprised you?
Nóra — I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to connect with our circle after the initial tensions. I loved the group and the group dynamic. Often, I was looking forward for us to finally meet again.
What did you like most about the Women’s Circle?
Nóra — What I loved about our women’s circle was that it was a light, energetic, loving, understanding, supportive environment, where we could be ourselves and experience it in its entirety, and this is very important for a someone who wants to grow. It was really great that we got practices that we could use between meetings, which strengthened the feeling of us being together as a group, continuously.
What changes did you notice in yourself after the Women’s Circle?
Nóra — After the women’s circle, I noticed that there are definitely situations in which I started behaving differently, thinking differently. I am more patient with myself, and thus with others. I can already see that I was able to change some of my old patterns and I no longer get into them, I handle them differently. I respect myself and set boundaries better, and respect other people’s boundaries more as well.
What else would you emphasize, why readers should join this Women’s Circle?
Nóra — What I would emphasize is your openness and your ability of asking really good questions. You are a very good leader, and you hold us with pure love. Who joins the circle will feel held, cherished and respected.
What was important and felt good to me was the sense of flexibility and flow through the sessions. I write this because even when we were supposed to move forward with a certain topic and something else was present within us, we had different feelings surfacing, we changed course that day, because Oana realized that we needed that instead, and still, there was time left for everything!
Is there anything else that you would like to share?
Nóra — This is a journey that it’s worth starting and you’ll learn a lot about yourself. You’ll have many AHAA moments, sometimes brought on by something Oana brings into the circle, sometimes by the practices, and sometimes by other participants. It’s great to grow inside a group, feel its dynamics, the team spirit, the energy. It’s a completely different experience then being on this journey alone.
