Women’s Circle
Women’s Circle has become the collective name of my programs created specifically for women where we meet weekly or monthly in intimate group sessions. The purpose and intention of these Women’s Circles is to dive deeper into exploring topics that affect women in particular. Embarking on these journeys of discovery and transformation can have an extraordinarily liberating effect on our entire lives.
You can read more about these topics, approaches, and programs on my website under the To Women menu.
In 2023, I led the first Women’s Circle online program called – Inner Journey into the Sacred Feminine, where we met with the participants once a month for almost a year. It was fantastic to see their commitment to themselves and this journey. I have witnessed such depth and compassion not only in the way they turned towards each other but towards themselves as well. It was palpable even virtually the way they wrapped each other in a loving embrace when they had difficulties or any of them felt like were hitting rock bottom.
They proved each time we met that it really is easier together! These are the formats in which, we realize we are not alone, and more often than not we are facing the same or quite similar challenges, and that in itself is healing.
I feel moved when I think about the experience we had, about the women participating in the program and their journey together. I am grateful that some of the participants have agreed to share their experiences and transformation to inspire other women who may feel called to step onto this journey.
Below you can read a conversation with Krisztina Gurics, a participant in my Inner Journey to Sacred Feminine circle, which I wholeheartedly recommend.
What inspired you to join the Women’s Circle?
Krisztina — You have been accompanying me on my self-discovery journey for years, and since we have been working together the image I had of myself, and the world has changed a lot. I have become more balanced, and I have been able to realize my long-cherished dreams. So, there was no question for me whether to join or not. I knew that I would benefit a lot, that I would receive loving support from the women’s circle, in a circle of women.
What was one or more benefits you received as a result of the program?
Krisztina — The practices and meditations helped me a lot to connect more and more with my body and with the supporting and sustaining life force that surrounds me. I felt this support more and more, that I am a part of a bigger whole, and this gave me a sense of security in my uncertain times. I received tools that are so simple and easy to incorporate into my everyday life. When I practice them, I feel a sense of harmony even when challenges arise.
What was unique or defining for you in program that you would like others to know about?
Krisztina — Coinciding with the start of the program, I moved abroad, and being in the women’s circle was a lifesaver for me while navigating the uncertainties of new situations and the emotional challenges that came with them. It gave me the feeling of being at home, that I was with “my own people”, in an environment where they understood and supported me with love. I could share anything honestly in this circle and I experienced complete acceptance and love every single time. This was also a big lesson for me because while I was sure I wanted to join the Circle because of you and because I knew that the teachings I was going to receive would give me a lot, I went into it very distrustfully. I was afraid of the group format (due to previous experiences). For me, this was the most decisive thing, that the walls I had built around myself beforehand have been broken down by the strength and love of this community, and I could share myself freely and feel that I was not alone.
What would you highlight, that you understood about yourself or your life as a result of the program? Was there something that was thought-provoking or enriched your perspective as a woman?
Krisztina — I understood how important it is for me as a woman to connect with my body, my feminine energies, with Mother Earth. How important it is to accept and lovingly turn towards myself, to my physical reality.
It was thought-provoking that I can and should ask. That I can ask for support at any time, that I can always connect to this sustaining life force that surrounds me. That stress and negative energies can be laid down and handed over to Mother Earth to transmute.
I gained a new insight into how supportive and safe it is to connect with my fellow women, create a community, and share. That I can show myself without a veil, including during my difficult moments. I learned how much it helps me to accept myself and my situations when others are present with me with love and non-judgment.
Was there anything that surprised you?
Krisztina — I was pleasantly surprised that I received support from those I did not expect it from, at the best time and in the best form.
What did you like most about the Women’s Circle?
Krisztina — That I felt supported even in my loneliest moments. It was easier for me to face the biggest challenges with the support and acceptance I received from the women’s circle. I loved how other women’s perspectives helped me find a different perspective on my own situation. I always got what I needed from it. I received tools that helped me better understand myself and notice other perspectives.
I loved that we were all different, everyone had strengths that contributed to us all growing. At the same time, we had many points in common, and we saw our own stories reflected in each other’s stories.
How were you different before the Women’s Circle? What did you think and feel about your femininity, what was your experience about being a Woman?
Krisztina — I didn’t appreciate my body enough; it was difficult for me to connect with it and fully accept it. Despite my age, I felt more like a girl than a woman. I didn’t appreciate what I had achieved in my life up to that point. I kept myself small and invisible, and I couldn’t fully appreciate and accept my strengths, my knowledge, and my experience.
What changes did you notice in yourself after the Women’s Circle?
Krisztina — TI see myself more clearly, I see my capabilities, and I sense my feminine wisdom more clearly. I became even more accepting and open to others. My intuition became stronger, and I am more aware of it. I also became more accepting of myself. I fell in love with my femininity. I appreciate being a woman more. I am more aware of my physical body, I am grateful for it, I turn to myself with love and pay more attention to my needs. Physically, emotionally, and mentally as well. I feel that I value being a woman now. I am stronger, but this strength is not resistant, forcing but holding. This means that, when necessary, I express my boundaries, but I do so with love – love for myself and others.
What else would you emphasize, why readers should join this Women’s Circle?
Krisztina — You hold space in a way in which I feel completely safe, a space of unconditional pure love, in which I can see myself, my patterns, situations, and others much more clearly and consciously. It’s as if a veil was lifted and everything gets clearer – I get a higher perspective, a more complete point of view. I have been meditating for a long time, often and using several techniques and I can say that you’re your meditations are very special. In the sense that they heal every time. They take me deep, while I feel surrounded by such love and a sense of safety and security that I dare to let myself dive in and I dare to see, to bring to the surface and thereby release deeply buried feelings.
What I loved about the way you led the women’s circle was that although we experienced deep transformation there was also a loving lightness in you as a teacher, there was always room for humor in the women’s circle.
I also really liked that you nurtured my ability to accept my own mistakes and that you were present with such acceptance that I got to accept myself as well. You never, in any way, judged me, and even though you were in the leader and teacher’s role I always felt equal to you, there was a sense of community and sisterhood.
Is there anything else that you would like to share?
Krisztina — I am infinitely grateful to you and my fellow women for this year because I feel that the external transformation dictated by my life’s situation was able to take place internally as well. The presence, support, love, teachings, and power of the community helped raise my inner strength to such a level that I could move on in my life, completely renewed from the challenges.
When I said yes to the women’s circle, I had no idea how much I would need it, and how much support there would be. It came at the best time, in the best way.
